This the 2nd test cockpit I am doing for the JF Connie. This cockpit is in green and has elements of several Connie cockpits I found pictures of. In researching cockpits for this plane I found a wide variety but green seemed to be the standard used by both military and civilian carriers.

Almost all textures have been changed including gauges, gauge dials and needles, knobs, levers, lights and night textures. Most areas are weathered and worn to show years of use such as scratches, rust, paint flaking, gauges yellowed with age and even the seats show wear and use. My goal was to try to make this as realistic as possible using the base textures provided.

Also included is a copy of the software RealEngine by teson1. This great little program sets up limits for engines specs and damage if you abuse those limits. It also sets specs for gear and flap overspeed damage and other things. I included set up for the Connie so all you have to do is install the software. This is optional to the cockpit of course so you can leave it out if you like to fly without consequence.

This is a test beta and offered here to anyone. All I ask is that you let me know how it works for you and if you have any suggestions. Email me at classicplane@yahoo.com and I will send you a copy of the latest version.
thanks,

Thanks Ian, this is just the cockpit, I have not done the external yet but it is on the list or are you referring to your interesting project that I hope to see someday.

This is working quite well and a good improvement over default. No issues so far, thank you for doing this.

Nice Work! Crg! :applause:
Is it possible to put more screenshots? How it works (FPS). This Connie from JF with view from VC has a low fps.

Really changes the whole character of the cockpit. Goes from looking sterile (although nice) to a real used flight deck with all the wear and tear of a much-used platform. Really excellent.

I've not seen any impact on FPS although your mileage may vary.
