You would think them passive docile beasts, not in Cranbrook BC where they are about to start a cull because they are getting so aggressive (smoking , drinking, loud deer parties etc)

I had to laugh when one of the justifications made in the cull by local officials was they would feed the homeless the Venison ...... Mmmmm nice.

The Game and Fish Commission do the same thing here when thy find a deer that has been hit or for what ever reason.

I enjoy seeing them.
This time of the year there are American Bald Eagles that stay around the lake next to the house.
Saw a Bob Cat the other day also.
Ya, I sure enjoy seeing nature in all it's glory.

We have a couple familys of deer that hang out on our property here, too....I leave 'em alone....I guess if we were real hungry i'd have to drag out my rifle and bag one.....one night I heard something on the deck, opened the door and a buck was standing at the front door...he looked at me, i looked at him and i think it surprised us both. He took off to join his brood out in the field.

Now, the bears and mountain lions that every once in awhile traipse thru here? Well, as long as they leave my dog alone and stay out of teh yard, i'm ok with them too, but i don't want my grandkids getting mauled by either so if they come around i have a nice big bullet waitin for them and the EPA and animal rightts people can buzz off cuz that ebear or big cat is gonna decorate my house.

hi flyer01,

thanks for sharing. Its been a few years since I've managed to get out and see some deer (health issues). So i really enjoyed your tour. Also enjoyed seeing your kawasaki mini truck. Looks like a great vehicle for the terrain!

I must admit to being partial to wild venison. In NZ we are lucky enough to be spoilt for choice - if you are fit you can chase Whitetail, Rusa, Sambar, Sika, Red, Fallow or Wapiti-cross deer.

But my fav meat is wild piggy!

When growing up in the 70's we lived next door to the Wild Wilderness Safari. My kids and grand kids still live on the home place. Thy are wanting to rent the land to put buffalo on. We might some time but for now we need the hay for where my dad and I live for the cows and deer. LOL I could tell you guys some funny story's about some of the things I'v seen at the Safari.

MODERATORS!
Is there any way that my post at No.2 can be removed. When I attached the YT I did not have my sound on and did not realise the low level of profanity despite the warning. I was surprised on review that YT would allow such base language. I am embarrassed and apologise.

The kids where raised on the lake fishing and water sports.

We where thinking about getting another boat so we could teach the grand kids to enjoy the water like we did our kids.

This is the boat I found that will seat the kids and grand kids for what I can afford.

Mechanically it's like a new boat.:ernae:

If taken care of a Ranger boat will last a life time.

I have not been doing much with flight sim after I got the boat the first of Feb.
I'v been fishing!

I live next to this lake in the video and been fishing this lake for 30 years my wife and I caught lots of big bass.

The guy in the video is right in what he says. Your just as likey to get a 10#+ as you are a 1# on any cast.

If any of you guys get in this part of the country I have plenty of room for a stay over and some good fishing.

I will have you help cut some fire wood for your food and room. lol

House hobbit You would be welcome any time!
