Is there a gauge that will allow you to view weather radar when flying online?

Feel free to disregard my previous post, I can't be seen to not be towing-the-line. Also please disregard the linear direction of this post too. There is a line, and I feel I may have disregarded not to cross it.

stepping back in line,
Jamie

Nightshade, I've heard about a weather radar gauge, but I'm not sure where. Pretty sure there is one though.

I have a two payware and one freeware...

Payware:
http://www.reality-xp.com/flightsim/wx500/index.html

http://secure.simmarket.com/simflyer-mfd-wxr-v1.phtml

I had the Reality XP installed but since I did a reinstall of FS9 it hasn't worked for me, when it did I got good weather returns while online with both Active Sky and Jeppeson. The second one is also good but it is hard to place in a panel if you dont want a pop up window, it's basically a GPS with WX radar added.

The freeware one is incorporated in an MD-11 panel intended for several different MD-11's by different authors. That , however has not stopped me from using it in other 3 engine airframes with a glass cockpit. I found mine on Flightsim.com, heres the file name....

acsmd247.zip (http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kdl/main/72/acsmd247.zip?5iaA301t)

you may want the upates too ...

acsmu248.zip (http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kdl/main/72/acsmu248.zip?5iaA301t) and acsmu249.zip (http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kdl/main/72/acsmu249.zip?5iaA301t)

I hpoe this helps you out.

Active Sky v6.5 has a weather display, offline or online using Active Sky weather.
