I just got the Orbx northern and central rockies and would like some input on places (airports) in Canada that I should check out? This is a big scenery area and so far I have been picking airports a random.

Cody gave me this link quite some time ago. http://skyvector.com/ Look to the left, click "airports", then click the state you want to start in, fly to, etc.

High River CEN4, is just south of Calgary and has freeware scenery available on the Orbx site. Very nice freeware I should add :)

There is just so much to explore with this scenery. There are a lot of airports to choose from. Thanks for the input.

Hi there,

there are some spectacular and challenging Canadian airports in the mountain ranges west of the actual Rockies; for example, Nelson (CZNL), Castlegar (CYCG), and Revelstoke (CYRV). Another favorite route of mine is a trip along the Rocky Mountain Trench, e.g. Cranbrook (CYXC) - Golden (CYGE) - MCBride (CAV4).

Also, there's a subforum in the ORBX forums where users share ideas and flightplans: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/forum/42-flight-plans/

Cheers, Holger
