Great pics indeed. Thanks. It's heart breaking in a way, as they reminded me of Liberty Bell, when she looked like that!

Yes !!Robert GREAT!.....Ever wonder what ya needed to know to fly this thing???....Well in these WW2 training films the young Captain Arthur Kennedy was instructing , We of course know him as the great movie actor...He was good...as you can see here..Thanx Robert...Vin

Speaking of flying the real thing, when I got my ride in "Liberty Bell", I spent most of the flight standing behind the pilot seats, just watching them fly the plane. It looked like were hardly working at all, it looked like she flew just like a big giant Cessna 150. Very cool.

My experience on the "Nine-O-Nine" and talking with the pilots was that the B-17 was very easy to handle. I've heard the B-24 requires far more input from the pilot/copilot.
