Their AW139 is my benchmark helicopter...
Downloading without question, thanks for the HU and links!

Did they ever put a pilot figure in their BK117? I wonder.

This should keep my internet bandwith busy for a while. :applause:

Is this a re-working of Heiko Richter's EC135?
Panel is certainly the same one...
if so I wonder if any of Samy Fay's repaints can be made to fit.

Yes I did think the external model looked very familiar, and immediately recognized the panel too.
In fact, I wondered at one point where the advantage might be, over the Richter model, as they share a common heritage?

But on closer inspection it is a massively reworked thing, the longer you spend with it the more you will see.
The VC in particular has had a lot of work, and very nice too.

And at first inspection: no, the texture sheets are different.
Pity, because I also rate Samy Fay's repaints very highly.

Lots of models to choose from, though, and those Shockwave lights will pin any crim to the spot!

Did I mention that on engine failure, it is possible to AUTOROTATE this helicopter? Collective stays operable...

I love the package but just can't get used to the black spinning rotor blades animation that seem to be the latest thing. I'd rather they were like others that are opaque blurs. Maybe it's just my hardware that make them look a bit hoky.

That's not only you!
This was the first thing that jumped into my eye, and I find it quite off-putting. I have tried several other rotorblur textures, but this seems to be a modelling issue.
Such a shame on an overall very nice package.

Me Three! Not disparaging a well done model, but I do prefer a well done rotor blur to seeing the actual blades....

I was thinking if the FPS was high enough the animation would begin to lose the dark areas and blend more evenly. My machine is limited to a steady 20-25 which works just fine for the eyeball but maybe couldn't achieve 'the look'. On other helos I've sometimes been able to simply borrow another disc bmp that looks convincing, name it the same as the one i'm replacing and copy it over the one I don't much like and voila, a new rotor look.

Wow, you do have a lot of time, or talent. I freely admit it may only be personal preference, but I go for the subtle blurs every time. The modified Bell 206 textures, a similar set for the Ecureuil is out there, anything that looks more like the real thing, a uniform disc. I also always thought it would be nice to be able to do a set that has one of two blades painted for contrast. You see these on lots of helos from way up high as a news chopper films a heli-attack dumping water on a fire or something. It's a dramatic spin effect that makes it look like the whole thing is way off balance.

Great looking helicopter in my opinion. Thomas Roehl and Icaro have done a nice job with this one. :applause::applause::applause:
For some reason though I can't download (or get the link) to the Air Zermatt repaint from Simvation.

They've changed the link (they had it under "Payware").
Use Pete's second simv link, and it'll get you to the right page.
EDIT: The sound and panel cfg files reference incorrectly I think, you'll have to alias to another model you have.
