Ya guys, it's embarrasing, I forgot all and everything!
Just fired up CFS3 again after what feels like decades and get a totally useless aircraft texture resolution.
I've set Composite Aircraft Texture Max Dimension to 2048 but no go, still everything pixelated.
Now were is the stupid idiots guide to crisp CFS3 settings?

I think over at regshanger you'll find the old ground crew settings guide. If you can't send me a pm and I'll email you the file.

You have set the screen resolution to something useful, btw??

Thanks guys, figured it out.
For some reason, when running CFS3config it set my graphics drivers mip map detail to lowest settings, for whatever reason.
CFS3config settings were fine, but I had to run the driver config three times until the high settings finally stuck.

CFS3config settings were fine, but I had to run the driver config three times until the high settings finally stuck.

...I also get odd and unwanted mipmap occurrences, -wish I could wrap me head around it a bit better :isadizzy:

...BTW, is there a good tutorial on mipmaps (quick fixes always welcome -lol)

molly b17 older version for cfs3 got most back ...now only missing the few ///
