Simon Smeiman, the developer of our wonderful little Storch, sent me a bunch of files last week. 'Unfortunately' Nina and I were in Paris at the time (hey, it's a tough job but somebody has to do it) and so I could not get them to you immediately.

But I am now uploading them to the shop, so registered customers can download them from the product page.

Included are a new (dds-format) texture for the propeller, a set of PSP files for a layered paintkit, the ORIGINAL skins with the swastika on them AND a mission for the Storch. This is Simon's FIRST EVER, so please be gentle.

Everything should be up there in about half an hour from now. ... he said, just before the server broke down......

Have fun !!

Storch-paintkit (storch-paintkit.zip, 10,563 Kb)
Operation Oak (FSX mission) (Storch-mission-operation-oak.zip, 26,904 Kb)

Anneke, you'll HAVE to sign in first in order to see them ;-)

@Hank Oh? I'll upload it again......

@Yoyo, that's the list. No changes to the aircraft itself. And yes, a mission made by Simon.

I am still planning 'FSAddon Missions', but am also looking at having special scenery made for those. So that may take awhile longer.

Meanwhile, baffled by technology. Uploaded the last file a few times. Works fine. Until I have the shop link to it... then I get 0 bytes downloaded. Grrrrrrr......

Thanks for the update. Great job on the plane, Simon!

Could I please have some instructions to install the new files ?

I could not find any.

How about an installer ?

My question above has not been answered (I have quoted myself)

There is nothing in the 65+ stickied thread that answers it.

Could you please help ?

I replied on 'What about the price for Seniors', not on the subsequent question you asked later. I didn't see that, sorry.

To answer that..... just unzip the files (mission and swastikas) into a temporary folder.
There are readme's in both files.

Basically though, after unzipping just copy the resulting files to their respective original folders in the FSX directory, just like you would with any other freeware file. Seeing you are not so experienced with FS, you don't need the repaint and prop disk most likely. These are for painters.

Hope this helps,
Francois

There was one customer who had problems with the .bmp texture of the prop. If all looks well, forget about the .dds texture and just leave things as they are. :-)
