FS2004/FSX Evektor EV-55. The first factory prototype of Czech manufacturers Evektor airplane; EV-55. The add-on contains 2D panel, fully clickable virtual cockpit and animated exterior model. By Pavel Brodsky.

I don't know anything about it yet but I just noticed this up at FlightSim.Com.

Just had a very quick look at the Fs9 version; at first glance I'd say it's about on par with the earlier PAD aircraft. Clickable VC, soundset included but no FSX native model. Textures are a little rough.

Ok I made a quick test.
The virtual cockpit is quite good, it lacks a bit of polygons (not so smooth shapes...) and it would really deserve better textures, but it's fully clickable with clear instrumentation and nice set of power management switches.
The external model however, is really terrible. FS98 style more or less.

What a shame. I'd love to see a good EV-55 for FSX although I'll give the creator credit for even going this far.

Hello dear colleagues. I am the author of this EV-55 addon. I'd like to say you a big thank you for your reviews and for downloading it. It is my very first addon I've ever made (and my first experience with 3D graphics at all) so please excuse the terrible exterior model. In a close future I'm about to make second version of this bird - the update will contain very high resolution textures for interior, some minor bug fixes and a quick remake of exterior problems together with better exterior textures. I am also about to add some details to exterior like pitot tube, flaps extending mechanism and so on. Last week I was so fortunate to visit the real Evektor factory, I saw the real plane and I took some photos for my further development. I was very surprised how authentic the 3D cockpit is in comparison with real one :jump:.
