Tried this on a buddy's setup (I have bought V35B several times from Caranado in past flightsim versions, [won't do it again, no credits for updating], still buying others though, however I think this tweak might let you see where you are going in the GPS (popup window shows same size as in VC for me - getting old, can't see as well).
Try replacing panel.cfg section [Window01] with:
