I read an article yesterday about using FSUIPC (registered version only) to configure all controls, instead of through FS9/FSX. I have CH Controls controllers, and am thinking of trying this method. The article says to disable the joysticks option in FS, and then FSUIPC to configure them.

Anyone try this?

Thanks.

Yep, that's how I have my controls configured now. FSUIPC allows me to have different control setups for each of my aircraft types (stick, multi-engine, yoke, etc) automatically load when I load the plane. It's a tad more of a pain than the default setup, but the flexibility is more than worth it, IMO.

It will also allow you to configure your joystick axis as well, top notch program. If I was only allowed to have one addon for flight simulator it would have to be FSUIPC.:applause:

I use it Chief. Greatest little program made for MSFS. You can do a lot more with it than FSX controls panel.
