Stuart,

The Japanese Kates and Vals have been recovered and reloaded in the new SOH CFS2 /aircraft/Japanese section. The page starts here:
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?catid=53

I think Talon pulled the p-40 models because they have been made obsolete by a brand new P-40 model done by Lindsay Watt and posted at his site, lwdesigns. Talon wants to be sure the best model for the P-40 gets used. This model is an E but I think there may be a B model coming? Lindsay's site is here: www.lwdesigns.com.au (http://www.lwdesigns.com.au)

You have to register and become a member to download, but there is no cost and the site is worth being a member of.

Personally, I use Bearcat241's conversion of Bruce Thorson's FS9 P-40B, again here at SOH:

It's an excellent model and flies well. You just have to rename the aircraft folder to match the mission's name for the P-40.

The P-40B I used in the missions was made by Lindsay Watts. All Lindsay creations have been taken off the SOH site.Because of this I had my PHP2 missions taken down because I knew the plane was not available. Lindsay has a new P-40B in the works and is an excellent aircraft. I have been testing it.When it is released I will use it in the Pearl missons and re-release them.

Thanks Captain Kurt and Talon
I have downloaded the files and have a go at changing the filename.
Good luck with your projects.

I am sorry about the blow up with Lindsay, it is certainly better for all who care for sims to work together and cooperate to extend the chance for all to enjoy the improvements all work for. I always think giving the benifit of the doubt works better than judgement.

Bearcat241's conversion of Bruce Thorson's FS9 P-40B, is a breaking parts model, the only that you need is configurating the .dp file:icon_lol:
