That is the wheel from a motorcycle from the Mad Max Movie series.

It could be this bike

Any updates? Like perhaps the other landing gear wheel? Or even a tailwheel? :icon_lol:

Oh, and does anyone have any info on the flight characteristics of the Mosquito as compared to some of it's contemporaries eg the Beaufighter and the A-20? I've various books on each, and in all pilots claim that they were quite maneuverable. Perhaps less so with the Beaufighter, which could be bit of a handfull (especially on one engine). Interestingly though I have read that the Beaufighter had a better turn rate than the Mosquito, courtesy of it's greater wing area and shape.
