We're pleased to announce that YPMQ Port Macquarie is now available.

This popular and iconic airport has been re-built from the ground up with all-new models, better performance, much more detail, PeopleFlow, sound pack, 85sq.km for superb photo real scenery with coastlines and river, and finally accurate models of the city apartments, hotels, shopping centers and much, much more!

YPMQ is about 150km S of YSCH Coffs Harbour.

are you going to keep the freeware one available?

I don't see the freeware YPMQ being available any longer. I no longer see the OZx freeware listed on their site. It looks like Orbx is turning into a payware only company.

Why would we keep an superseded freeware version on our site? V3 has been rebuilt from the ground up and it does not make sense to also offer an older, out of date and less detailed version on our site, freeware or payware. The V1 and V2 versions had been available on our site for nearly three years, so it seems a little spiteful to overtly comment now on your missing out on them, Matt. Methinks you have another agenda going on here?@Mike, you comment is actually quite unfair, given the VOZ and Orbx track record for freeware since 2005. Orbx is perhaps the most generous payware developer in the industry when it comes to freeware releases, or has that fact escaped you? We actually have quite a number of freeware projects in development right now, but we can make them payware if you wish :) You should think twice before making such comments on a public forum, it's just impolite behavior.

impolite behaviour not really just curiosity from forum members

It makes plenty sense John - a lot of users don't have the money or want to purchase the new payware version. I don't see what the big issue is with keeping the freeware link up anyway... pfff

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black; I checked my PM's and email and nothing there from you John!

As to freeware being available when a payware package is available; at FlightSim.Com alone, 1,244 downloads for the freeware Brisbane International Airport (YBBN) by Anthony Lynch, and this with the Orbx payware YBBN Brisbane being available.

Hi guys,

I guess people could have just said thank-you for giving us an airport for free for three years but that's probably too much to ask for these days...

:mixedsmi:

Cheers, Holger

I can understand some frustration guys but evidently it has been available for 3 years and do you blame them for taking the free one down when the pay one is released?

When I first got interested in FTX products I found the freeware stuff and downloaded it all...just in case I might need it some time.

I think V3 looks like a great add-on, if I wasn't travelling so much at the moment I would have bought it already.

Too much good stuff and not enough time or money to enjoy it properly!
