Hello,

unfortunately, we cannot release, at present, the navy ops pack (I apologize).
Instead, I have done a pack of airstrips dedicated to bush pilots.

Air America in Laos - The Lima Sites

29 airfields, mostly in photoreal / handcrafted ground textures (Low Definition ) including
Pakse, Vientiane and Long Tieng as they were in 1969.
26 others Lima Sites located in North of Laos and South ( plateau des Bolovens) : LS 85 Phu Pha Thi (Airstrip and TACAN station), LS 272 Ban Xon, LS 36 Na Kouang, LS 190 Ban La Tee, LS 26 Xieng Dat...
Revised landclass for Plateau des Bolovens
Custom buildings
And some easter eggs, as usual ...

Last night, after having raided the Vietnam section of Wikipedia, I was considering doing an AC-131H just for some fictional fun and now you post news about the Vietnam scenery.

Must resist temptation...lol.

Many thanks, Mark !

Bjoern, a AC-130 A Surprise Package or E Pave Spectre would be a great idea !

last revisions are done, french and english documentations are written.
I have added to Long Tieng the sun bear.

Many thanks to the french beta-team : Pat, Bruno, Pepe, François.
Now, I 'll go to a much more peaceful area : Alaska with Return to Misty Moorings.
I'll be back to Vietnam War project soon, to finish the navy pack and some new ideas.
Do you like boats ?

Cheers

Xavier

I've got Convair 580 (C-131H) source files here and would just turn it into an AC-47-like gunship with three GAU-11s in the rear fuselage.

An AC-130 is not gonna happen from my side.

Will this be a short nosed C-131H? :icon_lol: :guinness:

Hello Bjoern,

I don't know that Convair has done a military version, and a gunship version too.
It seems to be the 1st gunship built, in 1963.
I apologize for my mistake.
It is a great idea to do this plane.
I have looked for FSX Gunships used in Vietnam, I realize that they are very few.
Only AC-47 (Just Flight - payware)

Of course they didn't, so it would be entirely fictional.
Although I faintly recall that they used a piston CV-340/440 to develop the orbiting techniques that the AC-47s used later on.

Manfred Jahn has done a nice freeware C-47 for FSX, maybe there's still an option that someone adds some GAU-11s to it.
