The DP's for some of my downloads seem to vary from plane to plane with the same guns. Some 7.62's in the German planes are different, the .303 cal in the Spits and Hurricanes also. I know the US .50 Cal is 14 and the US 20mm cannon (P-38) is 39. Can anyone tell me the correct numbers for the following guns:

German 7.62mm (Bf-109)
German 20mm (Bf-109)
German 30mm (FW-190)
German 40mm (FW-190)
British .303 Cal
British 20mm Hispano (Spit)

I think most use DPED when designing their dp files, so these numbers are most used-

; This is weapons' template data file for DPED.

Quite a long time ago I converted most of my numbers to the 1% numbers that were put together. I think there will be an eternal differences with the numbers.

As damage dice numbers were adjusted to deal with standard objects, ships, buildings etc., new structures were custom built with very different damage boxes numbers.

There's always going to be some differences.

Having fired many of the rounds used in the sim, I go pretty much with 1%, and example being 18.4 for the .50 M2 Browning, 20 for the German and Jap 13.2. The Jap 7.7 and British .303 are two variations of the same round, and set them for 10, the .30 US Browning is the beast among .30 calibers, I set it for 12.9, the German 7.92 is just under in performance and set it at 12. One thing you have to consider in all Jap cannon rounds from start to finish of the war in all calibers are that they were fused to explode on contact, Allied and German rounds were set to penetrate and explode just a millisecond afterwards, if a 20mm German MG 151 round is set for 39, I'll reset the Jap for 30.:salute:
