the F-22 was a a no-show but these guys were impressive...
a new privately owned jet demo team flying the L-39...
http://heavymetaljetteam.com/
their website shows a T-33 as the lead aircraft but it was all L-39's at Barksdale..
(btw i don't know if the Blue Angels can claim they fly the closest together anymore....)

P......what is an 'over take'?
some kind of button on the steering wheel that gives them extra hp?
and how do the people calling the race know when a driver uses it??

It's a button you push that gives about 200 extra RPM and an extra 5-20hp. Catch is, you only get so many times to use it per race..(programmed in by electronics..)
