I hate to ask this, Mathias, but what are the damages going to be? Not griping, but my wallet is very thin currently, and I want this model.

Oh, I certainly hope that the "hang tag" won't do any serious damage to your pockets.
I'd think moderately, somewhere in the range of other recent releases from another certain European vendor. More on that tomorrow. :-)

Thats quite interesting how the CDI gauge that looks like an ILS indicator, is really only the Lateral course indication and a interesting 'DME' system, that looks like a glideslope but isn't. So can't fly an ILS but most ILS approaches double as a Localizer only Approach and is indicated on the approach plate. Can't wait to try it out :mixedsmi: The navigation system in the FW-190 Late was quite intuitive and easy to use.

Cheers

.... So can't fly an ILS .....

Why not? Not the most comfortable handling by today's standards but there's all tools available that qualify for an ILS glideslope approach and that's flight map, stop watch and gauges. If one is not so good in mental arithmetic he would need a scientific calculator in addition. :mixedsmi::icon_lol:

LOL yeah it has been many years since I took my Instrument checkride. I am a little foggy in the head calculating a glideslope :D I am looking foward to the Taifun refreshing my memory:icon_lol: But that is a lot of brain 'work' for only a 200ft decision height difference between the Localizer approach and the ILS :)

Another soon-to-be buyer here.
