Sorry, Chrome doesn't seem to accept the linked transfer from AVSIM..

FS2004 Algiers Real Scenery version 1.01 b
Filename: daagrealscenery1.01.zip

and

FS2004 Algiers City PhotoTerrain Scenery by Riad GHENIM Algiers DAAG, Algeria, Mediterannean city. This phototerrain scenery works with Algiers Real Scenery for FS2004 v1.01
Filename: algierscity.zip

This is something I love about FS9 - a mature platform, and favourites get tweaked and updated over time...

Thanks Mike, I find the Mediterranean is the kind of place you can easily fly almost anything to any place and not sound too illegitimate!
I have Aerosoft's Malta, from here it is a comfortable civilian hop of an hour and some.
Easy legs to Spain and France, too.

...and here:
http://www.fsnabisso.com/m8.html
you'll find lots of North Africa and Middle East stuff.

Haven't looked at all of them but looks promising.

For example, a little way down the road from GMML:

nice looking sceneries, i regularly fly around close to N.Africa (Tend to usually stick in Greece though) if you want somewhere to fly from, maybe recreate some of the strikes against libya Hellenic Scenery Projects Mesh and Base files are worth having, partly because during this 'siege' LGTG (Tanagra AB - Home of the Archangel Airshow) has been used as a base for allied aircraft.

but these sceneries... well i may have to venture into N.Africa :icon_lol:

Didn't realise they were staging out of LGTG...I will get there as I work my way eastward along the coast.
(My Greek scenery is reasonably up to date with all those great HSP and GAP files)

Now I realise why the French maintain an interest in North Africa;
just nowhere quite like it, away from it all, to go wring out your Mirage
