I received a request to make some screen shots to be made into posters of various aircraft flown by the 388th FBG (later became FG and is currently the 388th FW at Hilll AFB) for the BG's upcoming reunion. I painted an F-105 and this F-86 of a wing commander's paint scheme circa 1953. I chose Section8's model and have really enjoyed becoming refamiliar flying it again - what a great freeware model! I also want to take the opportunity on this Memorial Day to thank all our service personel, past and present, for their sacrifices to keep our country safe. Enjoy!

Quicky question: was the blue on the fuselage band REALLY that bright?

Thanks Mick & Warhorse47! As for your que. h52, I didn't have a lot of info to go by - I know they are the right colors, but the images available weren't the best. I actually toned the colors down some, maybe they needed to be a bit more subtle - just chalk it up to the artists license excuse! CL
