I was browsing their site and their forum and there's talk of it going back to the first of 2008, but no ETA.

Just curious as this add-on is one that is on my list. I'm running with stock FS9 skies and from what I've seen, REX will really dress them up nicely!

I have no idea, but if you are still only running stock FS9 enviros/weather I highly recommend this freeware package - available at www.avsim.com

File Description:

New aircraft spotlight 3. New airport lights that simulate a glow onto the surface 4. New Envmap (affects reflections) 5. Revised AquaPro 2006 Bright & Dark versions (base water color, wave animation and environment effects that also simulate cloud reflections in the water) 6. Trees courtesy of Feng Zhu's TreeGen v1.0 7. New runway textures (per selected WX Environment) 8. New asphalt textures (per selected WX Environment) 9. New concrete textures (per selected WX Environment) 10. New tarmac textures (per selected WX Environment) 11. Taxiway markings (per selected WX Environment) 12. Hi,

If you don't want to wait, Active Sky v6.5 has both textures and weather engine.

Been eagerly awaiting REX for FS9 myself. From the screenies it makes it look like a whole new sim.

Get REP Odie, good free stuff.

I have Active Sky and the Weather engine is better than REX. Combined with the H-def clouds from Pablo Diaz, Active Sky would be the best choice. I even use Active Sly 6.5 as my weather engine for FSX with the latest FSUIPC. It works. I activate it before going into FSX and then go in and wait for the weather to load with REX graphics. I don't like REX's weather engine (way too slow), default Jepperson is even better IMHO.

When I search Avsim all I get is a "return to Library"
I searched Flightsim, but no luck.

Searched under Tim Fuchs and found it, but it's "not available"
Any help is appreciated.
