Of his listed lenses, I have the Nikon 12-24, which I never use, and the Nikon 70-200 VR , which is one of the two lenses I use the most often. My primary lens is now the new Sigma 17-50 f2.8. This lens stays on my D7000 almost all the time. It gives beautifully sharp images with quick autofocus. If I know I can only take one lens, it will be the Nikon 18-200.

The other lens I will use is the Sigma 50-500. However, because of its eight plus pounds weight, I will often use it with a monopod and a ballhead.

Most Canon users would kill you for that. :icon_lol: It is one of the major reasons people are jumping ship to N!kon.

Canon isn't sitting on their hands though:

A 8-15mm fisheye is completely different from a 12-24mm f/2.8 normal rectilinear lens.
