Was looking on airliners.net and found an interesting picture of a twin otter landing on the beach. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Flybe---British/De-Havilland-Canada/1921164/M/

I'm amazed it wasn't pissin' down. Every time I ever went near there I came away drookit.

Edit - the second vid proves my point.

a 96 second flight in the Orkneys (and faster, if there is a tailwind (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/scotland/article6905210.ece)!!).

That Barra photograph was interesting, I didn't realise that Loganair were now operating it under franchise from FlyBe - previously I've only ever seen that Twotter is BA colours. Looks like I've got an amendment to make to my AI.

Is this not the one scheduled service in the world where it would be virtually impossible to lose your luggage, save it falling overboard?
