I was blessed to get a new set of speakers for my old baby computer here..
Has a sub-woofer too.:applause:

Didn't realize what a sub-woofer was, thought it was a strange dog for the past few years??

Well it's not some strange dog it seems..

I earned this gift working here, from a friend..
I set up his new computer it has Win7-64bit, I like this OS..

With the advice of OBIO and Sky Pilot I managed to get this done for my friend..
Thanks Guys..:salute: :salute: and Thank God for skype..

So he got me a nice little set of Lansing speakers for me..Not expensive..
Got Bless Him..

I now have a sub woofer and three broken windows!! :icon_eek:

This this really brings out some sound!! Even as small as it all is..:applause:

Don't crank up Grateful Dead to nine out of ten is all I can say..:isadizzy:

And I know Know that a sub woofer isn't a weird new line of designer dogs..:banghead:

Yea Hobbits don't get out of their holes often..

Now I have to fix a bunch of windows..:icon_eek:
Oh Well, had to do it once anyway..:icon_lol:

AND THERE WAS MUCH REJOICING!!!

Slowly but surely, your little hairy feet are being drawn from the Medieval Shire they have walked these many years of Man into the Modern World.

I too have a subwoofer...a nice big one. But ever since Deb set her computer up in my office/sim room, I have had little time to use it. I know find myself listening to the sounds of my simulated radial engines through a set of $5 headphones.

I think my wife is from Mordor. Now, I ain't saying that she's an Orc or an Uruk-hai...but I think she may be closely related to both.

Watching classic movies about Hobbits is also a lot more fun with a subwoofer. I love the way a room shakes.

I will admit, for it's small size it really helps out.. I wanted a sub woofer for sometime..

* Once I found out they were not some designer dog that is..:icon_lol:

Would Love to have a big one for my Stereo..
That could get dangerous with me..:icon_lol:

Lots of dancing and rejoicing here..:applause:

First time I had a sub woofer installed, I was living in a little trailer out in the woods. My old dog slept underneath the trailer during the day. Cranked up a Bf 109 in CFS with the sound all the way up, and that dog shot out from under the trailer like she'd been hit with a cattle prod. She went to the edge of the clearing and stood out there barking at the trailer for a long time...

A proper woofa can provide lot's of more fun for flicks, as the umpf-factor partially replaces some of the sensations youŽd get otherwise IRL.

However, if your really going to achieve Hi-Fi, youŽll need a separate device for music, unless the one is exceptionally good (posh).

There are in-audible woofers, which are only supposed to vibrate, which are great for simming use.
