This is really a cool baby brother to the Ford Tri-Motor. Pulls hard to the left making ya pay close attention to your heading. Here are my light and exhaust tweaks. Added the strobes but commented them out as they cause the vclight to flash -- very distracting.

[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 =4, 3.000000, 0.000000, 3.000000, fx_shockwave_vclight,
light.1 =3, -0.000000, -25.100000, 5.300000, fx_shockwave_navred,
light.2 =3, -0.000000, 25.100000, 5.300000, fx_shockwave_navgre,
light.3 = 5 , 3.200000, 17.060000, 5.000000, fx_shockwave_landing_light_tail_old,
light.4 = 5, 3.200000, -17.060000, 5.000000, fx_shockwave_landing_light_tail_old,

//light.5 =2, -0.000000, -25.100000, 5.300000, fx_shockwave_strobe,
//light.6 =2, -0.000000, 25.100000, 5.300000, fx_shockwave_strobe_2,

//------------ ExhaustFlames--------#2=strobe
light.7=2, 2.70, 1.10, -0.30, fx_V12_IDLE_starb
light.8=2, 2.70, 1.10, -0.30, fx_V12_MAX_starb
light.9=2, 2.70, 1.10, -0.30, fx_V12_Exhaust
light.10=2, 2.70, -1.10, -0.30, fx_V12_IDLE_starb
light.11=2, 2.70, -1.10, -0.30, fx_V12_MAX_starb
light.12=2, 2.70, -1.10, -0.30, fx_V12_Exhaust

Plus some effect bits

[effects]
wake = fx_wake
water = fx_spray
dirt = fx_tchdrt
concrete = fx_sparks
startup = fx_msf7f_start
//startup=fx_Ford_Crank_Up
touchdown=fx_Ford_Tiremark, 1
//touchdown = fx_tchdwn_s, 1
windshield_rain_effect_available = 1

Also messed with the Contact Points a tad:

point.0= 1, -24.091, 0.000, 1.800, 1600, 0, 0.600, 40.000, 0.300, 2.000, 0.686, 0.000, 0.000, 0
point.1= 1, 1.840, -4.400, -4.050, 1600, 1, 1.180, 0.000, 0.300, 2.500, 0.686, 0.000, 0.000, 2
point.2= 1, 1.840, 4.400, -4.050, 1600, 1, 1.180, 0.000, 0.300, 2.500, 0.686, 0.000, 0.000, 3

I forgot to ask, where can I find those repaints? Don't see them here or at Garry's site.

no such thing as enough USAAF repaints for something like this, if you all would consider a USAAF / NAVY / RAF repaint from that era I would be MOST appreciative. When I first downloaded this birt that was the forst repaint sceme I thought of...

Please.......:icon_lol:
