Wow what a nightmare but I'm finally back online again. I recently had an issue with my PC where it was in a continuos reboot. I couldn't get back into the PC not even in safe mode. Come to find out that it was hanging when it got to "GIVEIO.SYS". After what seemed to be forever and with the help of GearyMcS (thanks bro!) I was finally able to get back into my HD and delete giveio.sys and my PC was able to boot up again.
The file was installed when I installed Speedfan, and this is what hung my system up. It took forever, but I finally was able to get into my HD and run chkdsk /f which is what fixed my issue of not being able to get into the HD.
Long story short, problem fixed, files recovered and computer restored. The only good part is that I now have a very clean PC with all of my files back and it runs better than ever.
I thought I would share in case somebody else ran into this issue.
