Just found this today. A new release by Mas of a Matsu Class Destoyer.

A very nice G-max model. Easy on fps too!

Thank You for the heads up. Vey nice model and it fills in another IJN gap in CFS2 . MAS has been adding special deatils like the ships crew maning the gun station, also with his sub too. Great work . Lost his link in a recnet HD crash nice to hav eit back. Thanks again for bringing it to our attention. Wahoo

I've got almost all of Mas' IJN ships in my Pacific installs.

I looked up the Matsu Class DDs and found that they were late war construction optimized for the AA and anti-sub roles. They displced something like 1,650 tons making them much smaller than previous classes of IJN DDs. They shipped sonar and search radar as well depth charges and 3 5" L40 cannon and a heavy small calibre (23mm) armament.

Virtually all of the class was sunk. That vulnerability must have been carried over into the DP of the CFS 2 version as the ship is very quickly sunk with minimum ordnance.
