Don't know if there are any fellow armchair volcanologists here, but some spectacular timelapse video has come from the Pu'u O'o crater on Kilauea of the collapse of its central crater last Saturday afternoon (http://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/kilauea/update/archive/2011/Mar/PuuOoCollapse_20110305_small.mov) on the fifth of March which has likely contributed to the current rift eruption occurring between the Pu'u O'o and Napau craters.
