WOW! By the time it was over I was really cheering for the rookie, and from the looks and sounds of it so was the CAG and the Air Boss!

Great flick.

I just downloaded the Gannet in the hope that it will be easier. Which Ark, Cees? The single one or the newer set of four? Do you have the ArrCab cable zones?

The newer set of four! I think I got the arrcab zones! I'll take a look tomorrow!

Great to see that clip again, there are quite a few now on the internet from the Sailor series where that clip came from.

I'll have to get cracking on a few traps again, only got FSX in at the moment after my crash.

THanks for posting

Hi Seaking - the Ark was yours, wasn't it?

That's why it's called a recovery.

I never could do it in FS9 either...

Well I wasn't the model maker SkippyBing was, I was the tester and advisor if I can say that lol......I did two tours on her in the 70's

Great video clip - I could almost smell the steam and jet exhaust. :) Glad they finally got that Buccaneer on deck, I've stood phone talker watch on the LSO radio circuit and I know how hard it can be to get nuggets (new guys) to catch a wire.

Fine video! When I first tried it in the FS9, I felt it impossible to do. I really respect those guys who do it again and again in real planes. It looks so easy which it isn't. Now I manage to do it in FS9 perhaps with 50% score (with easier planes). Must go to practice some more :icon_lol:.

I'm ok with the Boeing F4B-2 onto Saratoga or Lady Lex in the thirties, but anything much faster . . . . :banghead:

Thanks anyway Seaking - still an enjoyable extra.
