Is there one available? I know about the IRIS F-35B but I was wondering if there was an "A" model (USAF) somewhere. I would like to see if I could throw a VT Guard tail on it since the Vermont Air Guard is slated to possibly receive them when they enter service.

In the interim, I did this paint job up. A "What If" scheme on the Eurofighter Typhoon. I read a report once by a USAF general who flew the plane and he thought it would make a perfect fighter for Guard units...

Abacus does. They did an A, B, and C package.

Hello Brian_Gladden

You can fly the FS9 Iris STOVL F-35B like a CTOL F-35A by simply not using
the last 3 x F7 keys options that enable the STOVL option.

By using only the first 2 x F7 keys options you will have flaps down for
conventional take off and landing just like the F-35A.

It is also possible to mimic the F-35A ''Helmet Hud'' ( on a fixed fashion )
by installing Eric Marciano's Payware F-16 HUD to the Iris FS9 F-35B.

You just follow my instructions presented on my topic here :

But if you have FSX too ( like me ), Dino Cattaneo Payware FSX F-35A is
simply superb, more realistic and quite affordable to.

Seasons Greetings !
