Hi my ground shadow and aircraft shadows are not being displayed, even though they have a tick in the box ?
Anyone had this before.

The intensity of the shadows depends on the clearness of the sky.
If the weather is bad, there's a good chance you won't be able to see the shadow.
If the sky is clear, then the shadow should appear.

Another possibility is if you are using a scenery that employs a modeled sloped runway and parking areas, like some ORBX airport scenery, the aircraft and scenery object shadow does not show as they can not be cast on other objects, only the ground.

As pointed out earlier - this genrally occurs with poor scenery add-on's. Most of which are FS9 quickly modded portovers and do not adhear to the SDK regarding scenery files.
