I have dusted off an old project and finished some skins for the Alphasim Ju87D3. Previously I did some for the Ju87G Panzerknacker so I decided to do some for standard dive bombers. 2 desert, 1 Luftwaffe Russia and a Romanian aircraft.

Is there a way of shining the basic model? There are also some colours hard wired that I cant paint, ie the sirens on the spats (even though there is a texture named siren!) the gull wing join and the outer edges of the elevators.

I have made some calls on the colours and codes that may not be totally accurate - artistic licence was here :kilroy:. If anyone wants them I will upload

Very nice skins, Watchdog. I will take a look at the MDL file and see if I can add some specular shine to the plane.

Oh, would it be possible for you to upload the skins in Extended 32 bit 888-8 format for use in FS9 as well?

Unfortunately, the shining was a no go. The MDL file is just too old and will not take specular shine.

Thanks guys I will upload shortly and thanks for trying to shine the old crate OBIO, I will have a go at the FS9 conversion, which skin would you prefer for me to try first?. Rami, I'm still working on the Do217 skins, I've hit some hiccups and compromises will be needed.

They look great! I'll definately use them.

I found the top fuselage behind the gunner rather hard to paint as not much lines up between the two halves.

I have uploaded my skins for the alphasim Ju87D3. I have put them into two separate zips. In one there are the two North African skins and in the other are the 3 Ostfront skins. I hope you enjoy them. As I said in my previous post there are some parts of the plane that cant be repainted so you'll just have to bear with them. They are most noticeable on the snow and sand schemes.

Tony,
Can't wait to download those great looking skins. It has been a while since I used the ALPHA Ju-87, but your work will certainly see her get air time around here.

cheers,
Mike
