Good morning, kameraden!

In the next couple of days, I will be putting up on my site the update to Jagdflieger's Battle of France campaign for the Ju-87 Stuka. I'm not uploading it here yet, because I will include it as part of a larger Battle of France project, but there's no reason you all can't have a little fun with it this week.

I've also got the Royal Air Force side, also by Jagdflieger, chronicling the British Expoditionary Force almost halfway completed.

I have the triggers for the final Stuka mission done, I just have to do the events and then have to write the readme. Look for it by Thanksgiving.

Gee Rami - I get depressed when I read your "only" - that's a feat that would be too much for most of us, and you just consider it almost done. Hat's off to you Maestro - almost nobody else could do what you accomplish.:salute:

Great stuff, Rami! Looking forward to it. As an aside I have to thank you and compliment you on the updated installs on your site.......it must've been a real chore to do, but so nice that they work very well. Makes upgrading my installs a piece of cake.

Many thanks, my friend.

Cheers!:salute:

Good morning,

Because sleep just won't come tonight, I have uploaded the Battle of France (Stuka) campaign to my website. I have also uploaded it here because it was a work that was already published by another party. (Jagdflieger)

http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?catid=44&linkid=2977

As typical, this short campaign has undergone considerable revision, most notably the use of Achim's French airfields, as well as Wolfi's Stuka and a somewhat expanded list of aircraft types used, including the Supermarine Spitfire Mk. I, Boulton-Paul Defiant, Fairey Battle, and the Gloster Gladiator.

Other improvements include the elimination of air starts, modified mission texts, updated infrastructure, including the Port of Calais, historical frontlines, and plenty of random chance elements.

I can't make any promises, but I'll see if I can finish up the other four Battle of France (RAF) missions and get the companion piece up. After that...the hard part comes.

Enjoy!

Alpha_1,

I gave them all a final update tonight to reflect the new link for the ETO install guide. I also did it for all my uploads here. I appreciate you noticing this!

Might have to take a break from the paint shop and go for a flight or two or three. :ernae:

Hi, thx for this. Anything involving the Stuka is awesome. Hope someday you can make more exp North Afrika with the Stuka as well. or perhaps the Greek islands in the Dodecanese chain where Luftwaffe had air superiority by late '43 into '44 before it waned.

The never-ending Ramiīs upgrading of campaigns!!

You are really spoiling us and doing an incredible amount of work and quality upgrade for CFS2, combining all the gadgets in a very clever way.

If you keep on like this we can surely expect in the near future to have debriefings with some of Gallandīs cigars, french croissants or good English tea depending on the side we have flown!!!

Thanks again.

Cheers, Discus

Good evening, gents!

Well, I'm now on the backside of the RAF side (also by Jagdflieger) to the Battle of France. This short seven-mission campaign is a bit more diverse than the Stuka campaign, consisting of bomber escort, airfield defense, airfield strafing, Panzer strafing, and Combat Air Patrol missions, all as a Hurricane pilot with a two-bladed wooden prop.

I'm creating a Panzer advance without about fifteen juicy targets tonight, I'll have to create the retreating British convoy (consisting of about twenty-five vehicles) tomorrow, not exactly something I'm looking forward to. Then, it's onto Dunkerque.

Dunkerque would be good. I hope it's Stukas from the German side. What ships will you use for the Brits?

Dmaloof,

Actually, it will be cover from the British side. This was again written by Jagdflieger, and both PSULLYKEYS and Collin have helped and will continue to help with the type of ships to be used.

Because of the amount of movable objects that will be required, "flipping" this missions and making them German would be a pretty tall order, but certainly not impossible.

To all,

I had to make a correction to the upload package, because I accidentally gave you the link to RAF UIRES screens instead of the German ones, together with British mission sounds. This has been fixed, and sorry for the mistake!
