I made sure to DVR that Oprah show! I watched it yesterday afternoon. A lot of her favorite things are mine too!

Back to topic: Oprah described the Nikon as being "one of the easiest thing to use". She said you just need to point and click, and if she can do it, everyone else can.

While I agree it's easy to just point and click, I'm finding out each day just how many features and options a Nikon camera has(or any DSLR camera for that matter).

Nothing about N!kon cameras is sexy. Canons look MUCH better. :wavey:

It creates a frenzy, for all chosen products. Priceless free marketing for all manufacturers/designers.
I bet you Nikon is receiving beaucoup orders for the Nikon 3100....that's how it rolls when Oprah picks her Favorite Things.
