I was just wondering do I really need to run the exe file? or can I just extract the folder to my fsx folder?

in the fsx add-ons section here. There is a f-14 airplane download. I got it to work without having to run the exe file. Now I can really show off for my project. I just wish I can convince my dad to install fraps...

and also I wish there's a carrier in fsx that I can land on so I cant test the plane's tail hook

There is. In Honolulu, Norfolk, and off the coast of San Diego. You just have to look for them.

Yes. BUT here's the catch... they are ONLY at their respected ports at certain times of the day. Where are they when they are not in port? THe carriers are cruising around in the water. So fly in a hornet from Norfolk down the coast line to North Carolina. You will see one of them.

war.ace does not have Acceleration, so the only carriers he'll see are just outside San Fransisco Bay, In San Diego Harbor, and in Norfolk. Without Accel. they are static scenery and will be there 24/7. Here are some guides to their locations http://www.simtours.net/defaultaircraftcarrier.php :ernae:
