Here's one of the models from the recently released Area51 Venom for FS9.

Didn't realize it was out. Love the Al Taqaddum AB scenery.

Here's the sniper model in blue. The crew/troop animations are really neat.

I personally like the black scheme, I'll post some from a couple of "DEA" flights in So America.
BTW, did you have any trouble with high fuel consumption? Had to reduce the fuel flow scalar from 75 to 50, then tweeked it again to 37.5 to get a FF of 1100 lbs per hour instead of 3500. Also changed out the MFD's using the Future Lynx, hard to read the stock gauges, bad eyesight:blind:

Excuse me for showing what may be a huge pile of ignorance...but isn't the Venom an ultra-modern version of the Huey? The main fuselage and tail section looks just like a Huey.

Yes, but the forward fuselage has been stretched a little, engines and rotors are shared with the AH1Z Viper and way faster then a normal Huey....max speed is 168kts (189mph) with a Vne of 227mph.

I like all the paint schemes and exterior models, along with the sounds, flight dynamics and animations. Both cockpits can be improved, however. I've been thinking of some mods so I can add some navigation tools (like setting the heading, etc.), so I'd be interested in seeing your mods.

Here are a couple of shots from the VC, right seat MFD's have been changed to the Future Lynx and the back up PFD replaced by the moving map from the AS MH-53. This is only my preference since it is still payware I will not give out any cfg entry info on that particular gauge. I suppose one could use the WAAS gauge in it's place.

And a few from the last flight, departed Medellin Columbia for a raid on a clandestine staging area to the southwest. Scenery for the departure point is from AVSIM, raid objective is SKF3 from the Capt Kieth's Adventures in Paradise freeware package, also at AVSIM with ground textures and trees Vista Oz Northern textures.
