I think all would agree that it was a great time out. I'm sorry to say that there wasnt a lot of beer and Jag forgot that he was supposed to bring the women.:wiggle:

Beautiful photos! If I'd known ZZTOP was going to be there, I might have spent the $2000 plus for airfare! :ernae::salute:

Ha ha! ZZTop is a great descriptor for Milo. Besides myself and Milo, there was PJMack, Kribich and John. All fine gentlemen and proof that birds of a feather flock together.

I think that we are going to make this an annual event so if you missed it this time, plan for next year. There was quite a bit of talk about the air museams at Tilamook and McMinnville, Oregon. Perhaps we'll have to consider those for the next go around.

Here are a few of my photos.

That is one decent looking museum... Every aircraft there looks like it's airworthy! :applause:

Thanks for sharing the photographs, guys

Might I also suggest Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio?

As Obio can attest to, you cannot fully appreciate it in one day.

For DoD military ID holders there is outstanding lodging on base. For non-military ID holders, i.e. civilians, there is a motel convention center on the base grounds, but outside of the main gate, that is extremely reasonable. They take W-P AFB lodging over-flow.

Jodi and I have stayed in both when traveling across country for our Uncle Sam.

Nice get together. It's always nice to meet people with the same interest.
I would however refer to it as the first US SOH convention.
We have been doing that here in the Netherlands for years now ;-)

Cheers, Rob

Yeah, the museum is really something special. I really liked it when I went - soooo many things to see!
