I like his style of "Focus Effect"....

There's a setting on your D3000 that allows you to do that :)

Would that be the aperture ring (or dial on these new fangled digital camera thingies). :wiggle:
Smaller ap = shallower DoF. :)



The effect does give sort of a new twist on those paintings.
Like most Photoshop "tweaks", it looks overdone to me...but maybe he intentionally exaggerated the effect for display purposes.
