Only six 'American' drivers in the entire field.
:173go1:
Tony George really screwed the series right up.

'Mericans race cars with fenders! :icon_lol:

Since their inception, IRL and CART cars have always been a place for second-rate formula drivers or outgoing F-1 drivers when they're too old for F-1. Only when USAC had the reins was it a legitimate American racing series. Yes, Tony George is the muckraker that threw the monkey wrench into the whole works and did a FUBAR to all American open-wheel racing. he should be strung up by his yarbells.

Cazzie,
You know that the Hulman daughters (or Tony's sisters?) have pulled the reigns of control from him......(What I didn't like was the Castroneves won the race on another one of those "fuel strategies"...)

Hey All,

Didn't watch but I see a top 10 for Danica. Just listened to Castroneves interview - he says he was running as much as 12 mph slower than the leaders. Says there is a pocket of air around 10 cars back that helps you save fuel - interesting. Good job Helio - lots of ways to win.

You won't get any argument from me here - when it comes to strategy, Team Penske is arguably the best....

That being said, it was nice seeing Panther Racing finish in P2 & P3.....:jump:
