Dublin Zoo

I took the family to Dublin zoo a few weeks ago...took the opportunity to bring the camera, D300 and Nikon 70-300mm VR. The morning was very dull with torrential rain, but it brightened up as the afternoon approached. Most of the animals are behind glass..which ought to be kept much cleaner! :(

Glass can be a bit of a pain to shoot through (Especially when you've spend a lot on decent glass for the camera..) but at least it's a bit better than shooting through bars or through a wire maze.

Just got home from a long day at the Rotterdam Zoo; photos will follow later!
