Works ok for me in Accel/SP2 in VC view . A couple of shots with one of my favorite planes and paints .

Thanks Gregg and RIP my friend ,

The HU-16 has always been a favorite of mine. The U.S. Coast Guard flew them and I could watch them taking off and landing from my back window in Salem.
It's kind of nice that you have remembered Greg Pepper by making his HU-16 to get more "legs" by making it availiable in FSX.
Now where did you get the model you show in your thread. I'd love to see a version for FSX.

Above is also at AVSIM. You talked about Coast Guard , here is a good set of textures of CG's at flightsim .com . Search for hu16_cg.zip . Matter of fact a search at AVSIM or flightsim.com for HU-16 produces dozens of paints for this very popular plane .

Thanks for the HU.

It works o.k. in FSX Sp2 apart from the props which hide behind clouds at times. I wonder if BB would be so kind as to come up with a fix.
Love the sound and that start noise.
Nice to see it live again. RIP Greg.

Delighted with this - it looks and flies very nicely (better than in FS9) for a portover. FS9 paints work fine. Great job and thanks to David Poulin for the work involved. :ernae:

Hi,
the Albatross looks+flies very well on FSX Accel DX10:
only minor itch: mine has frontal parts of cowls, gear legs and tyres metal rims fully transparents.
Any idea of how to repair, (if even possible:wiggle:)
Ciao

It works on FSX with Accell as well however, how do you make the lights that are on the undersides of the outer wings rotate outwards. Trying to make both taxi and landing lights illuminate out towards the runway.
