59.95 € to be exact...
They're allowed to ask what they want, their right.
Think this is a nonsense price...IMHO
Think this is a way to promote piracy.
Not going to buy it, no rich man here

If anyone ever thought their 9.99 sale was a bad idea, business-wise, this thread proves it. :gameoff:

Maybe for us warbird flyers, but there's a large ´FS tubeliner community' who seem more willing to buy this kind of add-on's.

Have to say, it does look superb, but I don't often open engine covers and radomes up as I tend to fly them, so IMO some of the work that's costed in doesn't need to be there. I've been waiting for this, but will have to say no unfortunately, it's just too damn expensive. Them screenshots are making that decision somewhat more painfull !

Ian Warren, are you running in DX10 mode, as there is cockpit self-shadowing visible?

I fly both, and $80.00 US pays the electic bill for a month, without which I would not be speaking to you right now or flying anything. The quality is not the issue.

She's too expensive!

I'd rather saw off my foot than spend way too much for way too little.

Hi Ian

Great shots, but that wing view looks odd, completely bent backwards...they need to fix that, don't you think so?

Ian,
Question: Can you get in and fly or do you have to spend hours wih the manual to start the engines?

I also see they have a Version 1.1 coming in September already....

Rick

BTW- Love the shots!

Great shots Ian, as usual! Got this baby too and do not regret, worth every penny of dinner at restaurant.
Yes ver1.1 is planned for September with more liveries, cabin etc. FYI -300C, VC-137 and (here we go) E-3A are planned as expansions.

Thanks Sedr , hmm Dinner .. i do like putting this aircraft on the line but for a dinner .... nah , very following reading many doc's on the type and off course QANTAS rival seem to look a lot better than our Air New Zealand DC-8s , so many models .. Jezz KC-135 .. whole new family again but jeepers , ya really open a can off worms with that variant .

Yep - that is one (or should I say 2) of the main reasons why i am hanging on to my money this month :salute:

@ Bruce LOL, love it!

Poo Poo the price.......the price is poo. No matter how pretty it is, that doesn't justify the price. JMO I wish I had that kind of money! Think I'll apply for a flight simulator add-on loan! :icon_lol:

The great thing about the release by capt sim is it made me go to their website where I bought the Buff exterior model - great stuff and not to costly. Then flying that reminded me that for over 12 months i had not re installed all my C-130 versions. Now Im haveing great fun with those.

Ian - i blame you! Those screenshots of yours were too tempting in the end. Having found i have actually spent less than £100 this month on addons I took the plunge.

Wow - its the best airline product yet. Worth getting just for the nighttime flying with all the VC lighting choices. :salute:

I agree. Expected something of the quality of their 727 which I like, but the 707 is just way better than that. Really a great VC.
