Yes, I've managed to re-animate FS2004!
There is one snag however: in the 'create flight' window, the area where normally you can see the aircraft is now completely black....
I seem to recall that someone else had this problem too, but can't find the post. Any suggestions to cure this?

IIRC this was related to a vid card driver issue or with the anti-aliasing settings on the videocard.

It's a driver issue. Try it in windowed mode if your not already.

Make sure your MIP Mapping Quality in the FS2004 Display Settings is not higher than 4, this can cause problems with some drivers. Also, do not set your AA higher than 4X in nHancer or the nVidia Control Panel or whatever you use.
