We left last saturday and expect to be gone 7 to 8 weeks.

As of noe we are about 1800 miles from home,no land in sight, calm sea and a steady wind. There still is nothing like watching the sun set or rise, the reflection of the moon on the ocean or a clear view of the stars while out to sea.

Whoo! 1800 miles out to sea with nothing but water to see around. Definitely not for the faint hearted. Do you have GPS and nav aids on board? Be awesome to see all those stars in a clear night sky.

Satellite internet? Just curious about what kind of connection works when you're out that far.

Have a great trip!

Love it Talon! My favorite trip ever was sailing and diving the Societies - My wife and I chartered a Jenneau 43 and did Tahiti, Raietea, Tahaa, Bora Bora, etc. It is just spectacular.

To sail there from Hawaii, that is just too cool -

Have a great trip - :salute:
