And would you believe it, that was not easy to answer. Of course we could start to do maths with lat/lon but bloody hell that's complex. So we asked Stefan Hoffmann if he could make us a flying measuring tape. And he done even more then we asked for. Aerosoft Scala is an 'aircraft' you can slew around to measure things. It just works. If you are a scenery designer contact us at support@aerosoft.com and we'll get you a free copy. </td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" align="left" valign="bottom">Links: [An image] (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2264586/1.jpg) [Andras Field] (http://www.andrasfield.com/)</td> </tr> <tr> <td colspan="2" class="text_end_small" align="left" valign="middle"> Tags: FSX (http://www.aerosoft-shop.com/list_news.php?sort=FSX&cat=fs&lang=eu) </td></tr></tbody></table>

Very cool, David. I've built numerous versions of this concept over the years, but this one looks like a winner.

Sent an email yesterday. Hope to see a response soon. Looks like a nice tool to work with and may end up replacing my Crosshairs Plus for FSX.
