Hi all,

saw a boxed set in a store yesterday: First Class Simulations "Stuka vs. Hurricane" and was sorely tempted cos I've been wanting a Stuka for a long time.

Has anyone already bought this set? Some of First Class stuff was less than satisfactory to me (e.g Phantom F4, MiG21). I think the Hurricane IIC in the pack is from Hawker Heroes so that should be pretty decent. Any first-hand info on the Stuka?

Cheers and y'all have a nice weekend!

I can't comment on the First Class Sim Stuka....but I can point you in the direction of two nice free Stukas. Alphasim released their Stuka as freeware some time back. You can find it under the OTHERS section on the new Alphasim Freeware page:

And for a very sharp B model, look no further than the one by Wolfi. It is a CFS2 model, but it is way nice. The VC is better than some FS9 planes I have. And being multi-LOD, it can be used as an AI as well. Look in the Warbirds Library, Archives, under Wolfi to find the model.

Several brave fellow SOH airmen have already tried it, here you can enjoy their stories:

I have only seen some screenies ... For my opinion not worth to buy (SORRY). Try Wolfies Stuka with Mortons repaints ;-) The best is... ALL FOR FREE ! :wiggle:

Thank you all! I have been happily using Wolfi's Stuka these past years, was just looking for a more state-of-the art model. After reading the comments on the FCS Stuka thread here, I think I will take the plunge and buy it!

Cheers,
Sascha
