Got another one in the chute for those of you who love that feel of frost on your butt cheeks. :snowman:

Finishing up the main ramp area. Too soon yet for an ETA. We'll keep you posted. :wavey:

Hi,

Good base for start the ice patrols and some Hornet's fun :)
Was twice time there .... long time ago .. and seen some old quad mot's of the Canadian Ice Patrol ? .... (seem's it was like the Avro Shackleton .. but I know it was not used by Canada .. maybe it was RAF visitors ?)

Iqaluit was the former Frobisher Bay Air Force Base used by the US and Canada. Operated from 40's thru the 50's for Transport. Also was used for Arctic testing of Airbus 380 #2 recently.

One could say Iqaluit is the world's premier Arctic Aviation test Center.

Impressive, but it's much cheaper to hire a bunch of penguins and give them snow shovels. Also funnier. :)
