This is something I've been trying to resolve ....

In the Los Angeles area I have the Blue Sky Scenery http://www.blueskyscenery.com/ photo ground textures, with several Hi-Res texture sets surrounding certain airports.

Also in the area I have a couple of airport sceneries which also use a photo texture base, but not to the same resolution as the Blue Sky.

One of these airports is Burbank KBUR by Shehryar 'Shez' Ansari.

The problem is, depending on the eye point altitude depends on which texture is visible ......

At low level the Burbank 'low res' texture is visible , But the higher you go progessively the Blue Sky Hi Res becomes visible.

The runway needs a slight re-alignment but that's a simple afcad issue.

In my Scenery Library the Hi Res textures are at #2 and the Burbank scenery is # 14

Is there anything I can do to keep the Hi-Res textures showing all the time ?

Thanks for any help.

Pete.

Might be possible by editing the scenery 'draw' distance or removing references to the ground textures altogether.
You'll need a bgl decompiler then edit the resulting xml and recompile the bgl

useful stuff here ----> http://www.scenery.org/design_utilities_a.htm

hope this helps
