Yes, the C version is the navys version, the A is the air forces version and the B is the Marine Corp version.

Been done before, but not to the F-35.

There's been a number of positive developments in this program in recent days. Another milestone was the first vertical takeoff and landing for the F-35B model.

The program is making headway.
