View Full Version : Guam- North Field- Circa September 1945.

While Googling for images of North Field on Guam yesterday it returned a result from Airliners.net.

The search thru Airliners.net returned a collection of snapshots taken by a guy's father at the end of WWII. I guess he had been stationed at North Field. It appears that one afternoon- or on a couple of afternoon- since it looks like it just rained in a couple of the pictures- he took a stroll around the parking areas and aprons taking pictures of the various AC that were parked and ready for retirement. There are some great pics. I'll attach a few here- hopefully it won't cause any alarm bells!:rolleyes:
